San Angelo, Texas – A Texas man was arrested and is facing charges for allegedly killing a puppy last weekend. According to sources, 30-year-old Roman Medrano killed a three-month-old pit bull puppy during a “burglary with intent” in the 1900 block of Wilson in San Angelo.
On Tuesday, the San Angelo issued a news release about the incident:

Burglary and Animal Cruelty Investigation
Over the weekend, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1900 block of Wilson in reference to a report of burglary with intent. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that Roman Medrano, 30, had allegedly killed a three-month-old pit bull puppy.
A warrant was obtained for Medrano’s arrest on the charge of Cruelty to Non-Livestock Animals and he was taken into custody on April 22.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing and more charges are possible. Social media posts indicate this was part of a domestic dispute and there are allegations that the person responsible for the puppy’s death are in question.
