Leakey, Texas – Gracie, the runaway giraffe who has eluded capture for nearly two weeks, has been found. On Friday, the Real County Sheriff’s Office said Gracie was spotted approximately four miles from the Cedar Hollow Ranch, where she was living prior to her disappearance.
Real County Sheriff Nathan T. Johnson said:
“We found her. She’s fat and happy. We’re going to have to bring in a team and sedate her so we can move her. She had a catch me if you can sucker’s attitude.”
According to the sheriff, Gracie’s owner, Vick Jones, is “really happy” that the giraffe is safe and that she will be home soon.

Run baby run for your life! Thats’s the true story of her escape. Why isn’t there a powerful group to remove this precious animal by helicopter to grad & save her! Disgusting to give back to these evil satanic can hunting bastards!!! These bullshit place in the US should never have been allowed in the first place. Poor Gracie, Texas is a place of horror for animals. She wanted to get out of the hole of shit but sadly has been returned to be most probably killed. Humans are so evil.
Poor gracie should be transfered to a animal sanctuary so she won’t be the victim of the next canned hunt or raped anymore to produce babies to be sold to heartless hunters to be killed and stuffed for their homes. TX needs some help from heaven above to ban canned hunt ranches.
