Clay County, Florida – A group of kids in Clay County, Florida, abused and ultimately killed a puppy who died after being held underwater at a boat ramp. According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the cruel incident took place on the afternoon of May 17 at the Main Street boat ramp in Middleburg.
There were four to five kids, between the ages of 9 and 13, seen with the puppy, who is described as a six-month-old Chihuahua mix. It is reported that the kids were throwing the puppy back and forth and holding it underwater.
As reported by Action Jax News, someone tried to step in to save the puppy, but it died a few days later as a result of the abuse it suffered.
The police want to find the juveniles involved. On social media, the authorities said:
