Wasco, CA – On August 23, a dog described as “quiet and affectionate,” is scheduled to be put to sleep. The young dog’s name is Dodger and he is said to be “friendly and great” with staff and other dogs.
Dodger is at the Wasco Animal Shelter, where he and other unwanted dogs are facing the untimely end of their lives because the facility is full. On Monday, the volunteer-run Facebook page, Wasco Animal Shelter Volunteer Crusaders, said:

***DOG FRIENDLY*** DODGER is approximately a 2-3 year old, Male, Husky who is Quiet, Affectionate, Friendly and great with staff and other dogs. Came in as a stray.
Dodger has done nothing to deserve his fate. Nothing but being owned by an irresponsible owner. Please help save Dodger’s life by sharing his adoption information. The clock in ticking and time is not on his side.
ADOPTION PRICE is $95 for all dogs. This includes Spay/Neuter, Rabies vaccine, and First Distemper/Parvo Vaccine.
