San Bernardino, CA – A 10-month-old puppy was recently tranquilized for euthanasia at the San Bernardino City Animal Control. Moments before the lethal injection was administered, staff did a final scan for a microchip, and one was located…it had migrated from the normal location and was missed when the pup was initially taken in.
The shelter has extended the pup’s euthanasia date to allow time for the owner to be contacted, but if that person does not show up again, there will be no second chances.
This pup, , is not doing well at the facility. He is frightened and he is showing signs of fear and aggression in his kennel run. Suffice it to say, Vhagar will soon be back in the euthanasia room if someone does not come forward soon to give him a chance.
Please share Vhagar’s adoption information.
