San Antonio, Texas – A large reward is being offered for information in a disturbing animal cruelty case involving kittens who were abandoned earlier this year in San Antonio. According to The City of San Antonio Animal Care Services, a good Samaritan found the kittens in bins that were dumped in plastic bins left near an auto parts place off Somerset Road and West Gerald.

In a May 19 social media post, the animal welfare agency described the disturbing discovery, writing:
Inside one of the plastic totes was a number of small black and white kittens.
Scared. Alone. Abandoned.
Trapped in another bin, several little ones didn’t make it. Tragically, despite efforts to help, more kittens later passed away. Our investigators believe the animals may have been dumped sometime during the overnight hours but despite the ongoing investigation, no suspects have been positively identified.

Alley Cat Allies is offering up to a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. Anyone with information about the Somerset Road case is urged to call 311 and ask to speak with an ACS Cruelty Investigator.

Somebody please turn them in because it will happen again! People who don’t fix their animals will continue to have kittens and puppies and they will continue to dump them!!!
