Louisville, Kentucky – This week, the Louisville Police Department reached out to the public for assistance in a disturbing animal cruelty case involving an abandoned dog who died from severe injuries. According to the department, someone abandoned a husky in Iroquois Park near the golf course.
The dog, Sammie, had twine around her muzzle, severe injuries, and was dumped in a black trash bag. The dog ultimately had to be humanely euthanized because of the severity of her injures.

The police said:
This level of cruelty is deeply disturbing, and we are committed to finding those responsible and seeking justice for Sammie. Investigators are actively reviewing leads, but we need your help.
