Kern County, California – A California family reported their cat stolen after viewing footage from their home Ring cameras showing an Amazon driver walking away with her. On May 20, the cat’s owner, Brenda Wilson, posted still shots from the Ring video, explaining:
Junie was stolen on 5/14/26 in the Frito-Lay area by an Amazon delivery driver. We have gone through all the appropriate channels to get her home, but the process has been painfully slow. Amazon has not been helpful at all. Please share so we can get more eyes on this. We want our girl home soon.
If you recognize this man or have any information at all, please let us know. Reward offered for Junie’s safe return.

Wilson later updated her social media post with more information about the man in the video, writing:
This man, who I have never seen or met before apparently lived next door at my neighbors house for a few months earlier this year. His name is Joshua Gonzales. His spouse, Jessica and I had a few run ins. Apparently, they may believe that Junie is their MALE cat.
I can prove that we have had Junie for years before this couple lived with my neighbors and I have pictures of Junie with her litter of KITTENS! We just want Junie home and we won’t follow through with the charges. We are not sure where they are now and our neighbor’s don’t know either. Phone numbers and last addresses aren’t correct. Their last known address is in Shafter.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed they are investigating the situation. An Amazon spokesperson tells People that the driver does not work directly for Amazon, but rather for a Delivery Service Partner.
