Gardena, CA – At 18 years of age, a Chihuahua named Tito is in need of a new home. According to the Saving Carson Shelter Dogs Facebook page, Tito was surrendered to the Carson Animal Services facility on July 26 because his owner was moving.
Living to 18 years of age is impressive for a dog…but Tito will not be enjoying the twilight of his life with his family. Instead, he is at risk of being euthanized at a busy shelter where space is at a premium.
Few people walk into an animal shelter in search of an elderly dog, and owner surrenders are the first to be put down when space becomes an issue. You can help Tito find a rescue or new home by taking a moment to network his adoption information.
