Washington State Ferries Seeks Owner Of Dog Found Alone At Dock

Seattle, WA – The Washington State Ferry system is hoping to locate the owner of a dog who was found by the Colman Dock this week. According to the state agency, the husky was around 2 a.m. on June 12, and is being temporarily cared for by ferry workers.

Many people commenting on the agency’s X account mistakenly believe the dog was found on a ferry, commenting that the owner may have fallen overboard. To be clear, the dog was found at the Colman Dock.

If the owner is not located, the dog will be taken to an area animal control agency.
