Philadelphia, PA – On Wednesday, the Pennsylvania SPCA made a special announcement about a cat who has waited nearly 800 days for a home of his own. According to the shelter, Tim, who is diabetic, was adopted by a veterinarian.
The animal welfare agency said:
“What’s meant to be will always find a way.”
As if starting off the week with the news of Wyatt’s adoption wasn’t enough – we have some more good news.
Tim, who had been waiting nearly 800 days to find his family, was adopted this weekend!

The shelter said that Tim, “the friendliest cat,” with an affinity for sinks and water, was originally adopted as a kitten, but he was returned after developing diabetes. They said, “Finding him a home was a hard task.”
Tim waited too long for a home of his own, but he is right where he should be now.

We love you Tim and Vet-Parent — you’re both the BEST — I had diabetic Cat for several years — 2 needle-shots a day along with special food 2x a day and THAT IS IT — it cannot get more effortless — THANK YOU.
So glad
He found his forever home
Every kitty needs this! I love all animals!!!
A nice ending to a nice story for a change -sick and tired of reading here about the cruelty of mankind towards animals so this is a welcome change, just wish there were more. Kudos to the lady for rescuing this little cat.
My Diabetic cats just passed away from old age. Diabetes sounds expensive & scary, but it wasn’t. It actually turned into a great bonding experience.
God bless u for loving & caring for your baby til the end, as all pets parents should do🙏🏽🙏🏽💕🤩; pets r not disposable!
