Kansas City, Kansas – On the fourth of July, a stray dog, terrified by the onslaught of noise from celebratory fireworks, blindly ran and fell into a filthy, 15-foot deep well. According to the Friends of KCK Animal Services, the dog sat in sewage and oil tainted water, crying in fear, until someone heard him and reached out for help.

The agency said:
Finally, someone hears your screams.
Kansas City Kansas Fire Department- KCKFD and Kansas City Kansas Police Department – KCKPD are on the scene to help you.
One of the firefighters said, “When I looked down in the well at him, he looked up at me, and his eyes said I give up”. But he held on just for a bit longer for them to get him out of that hell.
Thankfully, all’s well that ends well for this pup. The dog, dubbed Brisket because of the treat he received after being saved, was rescued.

The agency said:

This very good boy is going to need a loving home now. You can find the Friends of KC Animal Services Facebook page at this link.
