Shelter Seeks Home For Blind, Special Needs Cat

Corpus Christi, TX – A Texas animal shelter is hoping to find a home for a special needs cat who has no eyes. This week, the Gulf Coast Humane Society posted photos of Hardaway, writing:

Meet Hardaway! This special little guy may not have his sight, but he’s got a vision for a loving forever home! 🏠 Hardaway has been in our care for over two months, recovering from a double eye enucleation after being found on the streets, suffering and alone. His injuries captured in the second picture.

Hardaway is not only blind, but he has also been diagnosed with Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. The animal welfare agency writes, “Although these may sound scary, with a little extra care, Hardaway can still live a happy and fulfilling life but must be the only feline in the house.”

Hardaway has health challenges, but they have not hampered his sweet spirit. The shelter said, “Hardaway’s heart is full of love to give! He’s a little warrior who has faced so much but still purrs louder than any other cat in the shelter. 🐱💪”

Please share Hardaway’s story and help him find a loving home!
