Las Vegas, Nevada – There is growing outrage following an act of cruelty that left a horse dead in Las Vegas. On the afternoon of June 25, a two-door white truck can be seen pulling a struggling horse by a rope that is tethered around the neck. The horse dropped dead and was left in an east Las Vegas valley neighborhood.
Amazingly, it is being reported that the local Las Vegas Animal Control is not conducting an investigation. The police did eventually respond to the location where the horse died, but the case has been turned over to animal control officials.

The horse dropped dead and was left in front of the home of Cesar Aceves, who tells 8 News Now:
“It was pretty beat up. It was skinny, hooves really big. So it’s been in bad shape for a while.”
Though Aceves contacted animal control to come and remove the horse’s body, they did not arrive. The next day, a neighbor contacted a hazardous waste company to come and take the body away.

Aceves tells the news agency, “It’s pretty sickening, and it’s bad somebody’s going to treat a horse like that. And the worst part is that animal control didn’t show up until the next day. That’s my worst concern.”

The vehicle viewed pulling the horse appears to be a white Ford F250. Anyone with information should reach out to the local authorities to make a report. Las Vegas PD: 702-828-2907, or by email at animalcruelty@lvmpd.com. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 702-385-5555.
