Port Angeles, WA – A Port Angeles family is grappling with a devastating loss following an arson fire which destroyed their home, and killed their beloved dog, Niblets. As reported by KIRO, a woman burned the home where Xander Maestas and six family members lived; it is suspected that the woman, a relative, may have suffered a “mental health crisis.”
Maestas tells the news agency about the great dane who died in the blaze:
“She was the sweetest dog. A big baby, that’s how Great Danes are, you know?”
The woman responsible for the fire has been arrested, but her name has not been released publicly. The displaced family is struggling to get by. A fundraiser has been established to help them get back on their feet. You can learn more at this link to GoFundMe.

IF her mental health is that tenuous, she needs to be institutionalized. IF she isn’t ill enough to be locked away for her own safety and that of those around her, she needs to be prosecuted for criminal arson and given the stiffest penalty.
Set the person on fire who is responsible so they know how it feels.
Everything out of the ordinary is blamed on mental health issues. It’s possible that the person is just pure evil.!
