Western Washington – A large reward is being offered for the safe return of a dog who vanished on a river outing in western Washington. The dog, named Archie, disappeared on the evening of June 24 – his owner said:
My baby is missing $1000 reward for anyone who finds him and can help bring him home safe we are camping on tinkham rd near snoqualmie river.

Archie’s owner has been conducting an extensive search, and posting fliers in the area, but the dog has not been found. The reward for Archie’s safe return has since climbed to $2,500.
In a Facebook group established to find Archie, an explanation of how he vanished was posted by his owner:
6/24 7PM WE WERE ALL AT THE RIVER DIRECTLY DOWN FROM CAMP, ABOUT A QUARTER MILE. WE WERE ALL STANDING IN THE WATER, ITS SLOW AND ANKLE DEEP AND THEN HE WAS JUST GONE. WE DID NOT SEE HIM RUN OFF.

Lost dog posters have been placed in North Bend, Snoqualmie, Annette Lake Trailhead, 5510, and the surrounding area…but Archie has not been found.

You can help bring Archie home by sharing this article, with information about where he was lost, and the Facebook group where current search efforts are being shared. Find the group here.
Note: Archie is microchipped and neutered.
