Buffalo, New York – Nearly two dozen dogs are getting a second chance after being rescued from “deplorable conditions” at a Williamsville home. The SPCA Serving Erie County took in 22 neglected dogs this month – the agency said, “many of these dogs arrived covered in urine and feces, their coats severely matted and soiled.”
The rescued dogs underwent intensive grooming to address their neglect and most were in need of “extensive” veterinary care.

Shortly after the dogs’ arrival, the animal welfare agency thanked the public for their support, writing:
Our hearts are filled with gratitude for the overwhelming love and support so many of you have shown for the 22 dogs recently rescued from a home in Williamsville!
No word on when the rescued dogs will be available for adoption. Donations to help with their ongoing care can be made at this link to the rescue organization.
Thanks for reading! We appreciate you.

Was this a breeding operation, a hoarder, or what? Whatever the case, thank God some heroes finally got those dogs out of that hell. I of course hope every one of them gets a wonderful life.
