Ohio – When Ultimate Shine Car Wash attendant Kierra Mills first saw a tiny orange and white kitten last week, he was shaking, soaking wet, and terrified. The six-week-old kitten, dubbed Turbo Rinse, was found on Monday, after presumably being “flushed out” from his hiding spot on the undercarriage of a car.
Mills said:
“I heard a kitten meowing and followed the sound until I found him. He looked terrified, soaking wet, and shaking, so I brought him inside our main office and began drying him off as quickly as I could.”
After being dried off, little Turbo was taken to the Fayette Regional Humane Society. Miraculously, he was not injured in the frightening ordeal. Brad Adams, FRHS Chief Humane Agent, said:
“This could have ended very differently if not for the attentiveness of the car wash staff. It’s a reminder to always check under your vehicle, especially if you have cats or kittens on your property.”
Turbo is getting over a cold; as soon as he feels better, he will be neutered and vaccinated. He will be available for adoption soon!
