San Bernardino, CA – A submissive German shepherd finds himself in harm’s way at the City of San Bernardino Animal Control facility where his kennel mates are attacking him. The four-year-old shepherd, Shadow, has been at the facility since July and he urgently needs to leave.
This week, his advocate shared details of the desperate situation, writing:
Shadow #A568434 is being beaten up and intimidated by his kennel mates because he’s submissive. 2 of the dogs pinned him down and inflicted bite wounds on his neck, legs and back. They’re cornering him and not allowing him to get to the food or water bowls . There are FIVE dogs in this small kennel. It’s getting so horrible all the fighting, intimidation and kennel stress. Please help this sweet dog before his kennel mates hurt him so badly he’ll have to be euthanized.
Shadow is a young dog full of life and potential. Please share his information and help save him from further injury, and possible death.
