Navajo County, Arizona – A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for fatally shooting nine horses in the Black Mesa Ranger District. According to a release from the USDA Forest Service, all of the deceased horses showed evidence of bullet wounds, indicating they had been shot.
Necropsies were performed on the deceased horses and then they were buried.
Officials are hopeful that a member of the public will come forward with information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information on this is asked to call the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office tipline at 928-524-9908.

There is no justification or rehabilitation possible to make this monster safe for society.

If and when the people responsible for this cruelty are found; hopefully they will be held accountable and are locked up for a very long time. Probation does not work for these people; it is not enough and unfortunately that is what they end up getting. They need harsher punishments for these crimes against animals.

There are no words for the atrocities being committed against animals in this country on a daily basis. It has to stop. The only way is for truly harsh and meaningful punishments for the perpetrators. An eye for an eye justice.
