9/1/2023: Happy update! The shelter has confirmed that Samantha has been adopted!
Chicago, IL – On Wednesday, the Anti-Cruelty Society told social media followers that a pretty gray cat named Samantha was the only cat that didn’t get adopted from the Clear the Shelters Encore event. According to the shelter, Samantha is shy and does not show well for potential adopters.
But she is a sweet girl. The shelter writes:
Samantha is an incredibly sweet girl but unfortunately doesn’t show well in a shelter environment because she is initially incredibly shy. This 5-year-old prefers to hide in her hut during adoption hours so she doesn’t get to show off how cute she is to potential adopters!
Once Samantha gets to know you, she will happily accept chin scratches and love.
Please help Samantha find her forever home by sharing her adoption information.
