Update: Rescued!!
Chesterfield, SC – A young dog at the Chesterfield Animal Shelter has given up hope of being saved. The three-year-old dog, dubbed Lucy, was rescued from a hoarding situation and taken to the animal shelter where she delivered a litter of puppies.
Because of the stressful environment, all of Lucy’s puppies died. It is clear that Lucy is broken inside.
A social media post made on Lucy’s behalf reveals the depth of her despair:
I met Lucy today at the Chesterfield Co. shelter today and could about feel my heart breaking right in my chest.
Lucy is approximately three years old and came from a hoarding situation. She is completely shut down, so much so she won’t even lift her head. 💔She is so terrified and so shut down, the shelter is no place for this innocent little girl who has clearly been dealt a crappy hand in life. From hoarding to the shelter, no wonder she has zero hope.

Poor dear beautiful Lucy; I only wish I could adopt her, but I and my brother are the only two our 4 dogs have to solidly rely on and we’re getting up in years. I hope the right people step up to give her the beautiful life she deserves.
Too bad about that vaccine ritual; I’m sure that didn’t help Lucy’s outlook on life. I’ve seen several dogs/pups yelp and howl in pain for a long time after administration of the disease cocktails, including our dog Kaley before the vet would spay her. And that’s only the first sign of trouble. Vaccines are not health enhancers (they’re quite the opposite), but they are profit enhancers.
It is such a shame that many people who think they are helping animals are actually pawns of predatory industries: in this case, Big Pharma. I’ve investigated and written about vaccines for a very Iong time, and all they’re good for is implanting autoimmune diseases, cancer, allergies, etc., which provides huge profits to the medical/pharmaceutical conglomerate in two ways – First, charging customers to have their animals injected with toxins, and then reaping the financial rewards of treating the injected/installed maladies caused by those shots.
