Last Call: Orphaned Litter Of Puppies Will Be Euthanized Saturday Without Rescue

Seven orphaned puppies are at risk of being euthanized on Saturday if rescue cannot be secured.

Update 7/11/2023: Saved by Saving Hope Rescue!!

Fort Worth, Texas – It is a never-ending cycle of intake, overcrowding, and euthanasia at animal shelters across the nation, and even adorable litters of puppies are at risk. On Friday afternoon, the Code Red Animals of FWACC Facebook page issued the “last call” alert for an orphaned litter of puppies at the Fort Worth Animal Control facility.

According to the shelter volunteers, the seven puppies are “rescue only” because they arrived to the facility underweight, and suffering from non-contagious mange.

  1. Please do not euthanize these babies. Why do they need to be euthanized? Give them a chance to be adopted please, all they want to do is live. This is breaking my heart, if I could adopt just one I would, but I have a house full of cats right now. Please give these babies a chance to live.

  2. Shame on this Fort Worth, TX “shelter” killing these little ones. I wonder if they were any other breed they would be treating their mange and finding fosters for them but because they are pit bull pups they will kill them to get rid of them. Look at the picture of those babies, the shelter couldn’t even bother to trim their long toe nails. Just sad.

  6. stop euthanizing innocent animals whose lives are as valuable as your own stop allowing breeders make it illegal to breed animals and tell every animal in a shelter has a home and a safe home start putting the piece of shits that breed animals for fighting and just to make money stop it change the law and let the animals that are alive live good happy lives
