San Bernardino, CA – Help is urgently needed for a homeless German shepherd puppy who is at risk of being killed at a busy California animal control agency. The 10-month-old puppy, dubbed Tattooine, was at the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter with his brother, who has already been put down.
Unwanted pets are never safe – as long as they sit in one of the facility’s kennel runs, they are at risk of being euthanized.

Description: I arrived at the San Bernardino City Animal Shelter on 04/04/2025 from San Bernardino. After my holding period ended on 04/08/2025, shelter staff gave me the name, Tattooine.

Both puppies were put on the euthanasia list at the same time – the other puppy is already gone.

These shelters are heartless along with the owners who don’t spay and neuter their pups and discard them as disposable inanimate objects!!!
What is wrong with these hellholes? They have no right to call themselves shelters — places that kill animals are slaughterhouses! Shame on you all for killing this pup’s brother — you can at least make some effort to get this beautiful boy to a NO KILL shelter in the north for placement into a loving, forever home.
