Pasco County, FL – A horse who fell into a swimming pool was rescued by firefighters on Tuesday evening. According to Pasco County Fire Rescue, their Special Operations Team responded to a call that came in around 5:30 p.m.
In a social media post, the agency recounted the situation:
Squad 1 responded to the scene with our large animal rescue equipment, and the team went to work. After hopping into the pool, firefighters secured a hoisting harness to the horse and carefully lifted the horse from the water.
Video was rolling as the horse was successfully pulled out of the pool to safety. According to the fire rescue agency, the horse is in “good condition.” Great work everyone!
