Bucks County, PA – A beloved community Santa is grappling with the loss of his home, and pets, following a devastating blaze that destroyed his Fairless Hills house on Saturday night. According to the Fairless Hills Fire Department, the blaze was reported shortly before 10 p.m. on Saturday and the occupants of the residence were not home.
Tragically, the three pets belonging to “Santa Scott,” did not survive. The fire agency said:
Upon arrival, a fully involved home was discovered, but the occupants were not home at the time of the fire and returned home a short time later. There were no injuries to firefighters, but two dogs and a bird perished in the fire.
Scott “Santa Scott” Diethorne confirmed the information in a Facebook live video.
According to Diethorne, the fire is believed to have started in the attic and the cause remains under investigation.

A fundraiser has been established by Santa Scott’s brother – over $100,000 has been raised so far.
