Garland, TX – A badly neglected dog, matted and dirty, sits in a kennel run at the Garland Animal Shelter & Adoption Center, waiting for someone to save him. The two-year-old Maltese mix appears to have been neglected for a long time or perhaps he has been lost and fending for himself.
On Thursday, the Saving Shelter Dogs from Euthanasia Facebook page wrote:
“His Matted Fur Tells the Story of a Life Without Care or Love—Will You Save Him?”
His matted fur is the heartbreaking proof of a life spent in neglect and loneliness, wandering the streets with no one to care. Betrayed and abandoned, this poor boy has known nothing but suffering, his small body left to fend for itself in a world that’s been so cruel. He’s waiting, trembling with fear, for someone to show him that life can still be kind, that not every human will turn their back on him.
This is a young dog who should have an entire life ahead of him. Given the right care (and a good grooming session!) he will be a new dog…
Please share this pup’s information and help him get the assistance he needs – before it is too late and he is gone forever.
