Seattle, WA – A homeless dog’s flicker of hope is dimming after more than 227 days at the Seattle Animal Shelter. Two-year-old Grubauer once had hope of finding a family of his own, but his hope is fading after months of being unwanted.
The animal welfare agency said:
It’s been 227 days since Grubauer first set his hopeful eyes on the world, his tail wagging in anticipation of a forever home. In these long, weary days, he’s watched countless faces pass by
️ The once vibrant spark in Grubauer eyes is slowly dimming. His once-thick coat is thinning and his paws have grown weary from pacing back and forth in his kennel space.
Despite the best efforts of the shelter staff, Grubauer weight is dwindling, a silent testimony to the longing for companionship and love that
consumes him.
Offering a heartfelt plea to change Grubauer’s story:
Please, if you have room in your heart and home for Grubauer, reach out to the shelter today. Let’s rewrite the narrative of this lonely dog and give him the love and warmth he’s been yearning for all these days. ❤️
Please help this sad boy find a home of his own by sharing his story.
