Lancaster County, SC – A young dog who was seized from a cruel situation is sitting in a kennel run at the Lancaster County Animal Shelter where she is petrified and frozen in fear. According to the Voices for Lancaster Animals Facebook page, the dog, dubbed Birdie, came to the facility with her siblings, but one of those dogs is already gone:
This pathetic little girl was brought in by way of AC with 6 others due to a cruelty seize. One of her siblings has already been euthanized .
Explaining the extent of Birdie’s overwhelming fear:
Birdie is just plain terrified. She shrinks herself into the furthest corner of her run, frozen and shaking in fear. This sweet little thing needs out before she meets the same fate on the shelter floor .
Information about Birdie:
Birdie is going to need a ton of TLC, time, and patience to come out of her shell and learn to be a dog.
