Young Dog Has Waited Almost Her Entire Life For Someone To Adopt Her

Philadelphia, PA – A dog named Morganna is patiently waiting for someone to notice her. The two-year-old dog has spent the majority of her life in the care of the Pennsylvania SPCA who has been repeatedly using social media to help Morganna find a home.

On Monday, the animal welfare agency said:

How has this face been passed up for nearly two years? Morganna is just about the cutest, friendliest, and happiest pup you’ll ever meet, yet she still waits for a home.

This sweet girl is people and dog-social, so very smart, and longing for a family of her own.

Morganna’s adoption profile reveals her many attributes:

She is a mix of innocence with a touch of old soul, making up for lost time after growing up in the shelter. This sweet girl loves every person she meets, is very dog friendly, and super intelligent. She walks well on a harness and knows sit, down, auto sits, paw, shake, high five, hand targeting/touch, watch, come, place, drop it, and many more.

It is time for Morganna to find a family of her very own. Please help make that happen by networking her adoption information.

Interested? Please ask about Morganna today by emailing adoptions@pspca.org.

  1. Would there be a way to get her to Canada? I’m looking to rescue a dog and she seems like she would also be the perfect dog to rescue! I had to put my 10 year old furbaby down last December and I’m so lost and feel alone without my baby girl! I’m moving into a house that has a huge fenced in backyard with a wonderful trails and a dog park in area to have nice walks and play dates with other dogs.

If only I could get her brought to me in Canada… 😪🫂🤞🙏

  2. That’s how we feel. Many a time we would like to take on another dog or dogs, but we are in the United Kingdom, just frustrating.
