Volunteers Plead For Help For Overlooked ‘Black, Scarred” Puppy Who Is Shelter’s Longest Resident

Lancaster, SC – Volunteers for the Lancaster County (SC) Animal Shelter are pleading for help for a “black, scarred up” puppy who is the longest resident at the facility. In a social media post, the volunteers explain:

LONGEST RESIDENT🚨

The situation is DIRE when your longest resident is a freaking puppy.

Letting followers know that Lloyd’s brother was adopted…and he has been left behind:

Lloyd came in as a stray with his brother who he shared his shelter kennel run with. Then one day his brother was saved, leaving Lloyd behind. Lloyd has been waiting for his chance but he is severely overlooked. Is it because he’s a black, scarred up pit mix? Yes, he’s scarred.

Adding why they want this overlooked puppy to get his chance for happiness:

Our hearts are BREAKING for Lloyd who only wants to play and snuggle.

Adoption fee- $100 includes: spay/neuter, heartworm test, microchip, first vaccines, and wormer.

💸 Sponsorship:
Confirmed-
💲Pledges- $510
💲$100 private pledge

📝 Please note:
-if adopted hw sponsorship goes directly to your vet
-if adopted YOU are required to show proof of heartworm treatment (if positive)

You can find Lloyd’s adoption profile at this link to the shelter’s listings for adoptable dogs.

Please share Lloyd’s story and help him find the loving home that he needs and deserves.
