Urgent! Sweet, Calm, And Gentle Shepherd Must Exit Shelter By June 9

Dallas, TX – A five-year-old German shepherd is in danger of being euthanized at the Dallas Animal Services facility. The beautiful dog, dubbed Claire, arrived at the animal control facility on May 22 and she must exit by the morning of June 9.

The Urgent Pets of Dallas Animal Services Facebook page writes:

Claire may have arrived as a stray dog, but it is clear that she had an owner based on her observed behavior at the shelter.

very calm and chill, potty trained, leash trained

Please help save Claire’s life. She was let down by her family and now she may die simply because nobody has come forward to adopt or rescue her. Claire deserves better and she certainly deserves to live out the remainder of her life.

    • Not sure I understand. Isn’t the “adoption pending” comment from June 5th? And this article was written on June 6th saying “urgent” and “must exit”. Her euth date was this morning. Can anyone verify she was saved first hand?
