New Rochelle, New York – Surveillance cameras caught the moment two men abandoned a caged dog outside the Humane Society of Westchester in the early morning hours Wednesday. The young dog was not discovered for an agonizing five hours during which time she endured the bitter cold.

On January 14, the shelter posted the heartbreaking surveillance video in which the pup can be heard crying. The organization requested help identifying the people who left her in the cold:
The dog is safe and warm and being held at the shelter facility for the mandatory “stray hold.” After that time, she will be made available for adoption.

At least the pup was going to be found I can’t condemn that for it could have been far worse and now she’ll find a loving caring home. Every animal has a terrible story to tell if they could only tell us 🙏
Scum. I hope they experience the same level of abandonment in their lives. Let’s hope that pup has much brighter days ahead with someone who will cherish her.
Animal sheters now charge for owner surrender. So I wish they had stuck a towel or something to help keep the dog warm, but at least they didn’t dump the dog in an area that no one would find it….Stop charging for owner surrender. Then they would have shown up at a normal time to dump the animal.
How do you know that? Our shelters don’t charge. I know mangitudes of shelters that don’t charge. Look at these slobs, do they look reputable? Do they look warm and caring and just in a difficult spot? Do they look smart? NO
Man’s inhumanity to man is only surpassed by his cruelty to animals
What a pair of cold hearted wankers, cowards too. Plz find them and charge them with extreme cruelty !
