Los Angeles, CA – A stunning German shepherd has apparently been forgotten behind the bars of his kennel run at the Los Angeles Animal Services – North Central Shelter. According to the eight-year-old dog’s adoption profile, he has been at the facility since Oct 25, 2022.
German shepherds are highly intelligent and devoted companions. Imagine this dog’s despair as day after day passes with nobody stopping at his kennel run to save him.

How can I go about adopting him? And having him sent to Tallahassee FL?
I’d contact the shelter.
He has been rescued by Trina Friends k9 Rescue. Contact them if interested in adopting Mormont, although they may not want out of state adopters.
There are several animal transport orgs that serve all over the country based in SoCal. They may not necessarily be free but I’m sure being this beautiful senior boy is such a special and needy case there may be some flexibility to his transport fees. Or even a GoFundMe – type situation? I hope beyond all hope you two become each other’s rescuers very soon!!! Good luck!

Remember, by adopting or fostering thru a rescue group, you are proving space for another urgent dog to be rescued. Also, a good rescue group will help ensure you get a healthy dog, and training support! Very important for a longtime shelter animal!
