Shelter Seeks Home For Elderly Cat, Surrendered At 13 Years And Not Doing Well

Philadelphia, PA – A 13-year-old cat named Thumper is struggling after his owner surrendered him to a Philadelphia shelter. The cat, affectionately referred to as a “gentle cow cat,” desperately needs to be relocated to a foster home where he can relax and feel safe and loved.

Philly Paws writes:

Our poor buddy Thumper really needs a foster! This sweet boy lost his home at 13 years old & is having a really hard time at the shelter. He spends most of his days squishing himself into corners or under blankets so he can feel safe & his mobility isn’t amazing.

They continue:

Thumper clearly wants love (he even has a heart on his nose!) & will melt into your arms w/ patience, petting & baby talk.

He desperately seeks a quiet foster home where he can feel safe & comfy while we learn more about possible leg issues & make med adjustments.

Will you please help sweet Thumper find a safe home to stay in? You can assist by sharing his story!

If you’d like to help this gentle cow cat, email foster@phillypaws.org to learn more about Thumper!
