Senior Dog Longs For Committed Home After Multiple Treks Back To The Shelter

Lima, OH – A senior dog named Zeke has spent a good portion of his time in and out of an Ohio animal shelter, through no fault of his own. The now nine-year-old dog is hoping that someone will come forward to adopt him and give him a home to spend the remainder of his life in.

The Ohio SPCA writes:

Remember me? 💔
My name is Zeke. I first arrived at the shelter back in 2017, and have been back and forth ever since. Over the years I’ve had multiple families adopt me, then return me to no fault of my own. I thought I found my furever home a few months ago, but here I am again back at the shelter.

Adding:

I am tired. I am not happy about being back at the shelter. I want someone to commit to me! Please don’t make me wait here any longer. I deserve a home that will give me time, love and patience as I settle into a new environment once again.

Zeke is a smart boy who knows many commands, including sit, shake, and lay down. He does well with other dogs and older kids. Zeke likes to play and go for walks. Most of all, Zeke needs a loving, committed guardian who will care for him for the rest of his life.

If you are interested in adopting, please download an application at ohiospca.org and then email once complete to adoptionsohiospca@gmail.com.
The shelter is located at 3606 Elida Rd. in Lima.
Phone: 419-991-1775

Note: Please contact the shelter directly with any questions about this dog.
