Rio Grande City, Texas – An elderly dog, estimated to be at least ten years of age, is scared and confused after she was surrendered to a Texas animal shelter by her owner. The senior heeler, named Chumina, is clearly distressed by the loss of her home and family.
On Friday morning, the Texas Senior Shelter and Rescue Animals Facebook page shared Chumina’s photo, writing:
Surrendered by owner, confused, scared, stressed, & not eating, this sweet senior needs out of animal control & into a real home with a real family ASAP.
Thank you Vero for her photo & info. ❤️
Helping this senior dog find an adopter or rescue group is as simple as sharing. Please post this article to your social media links (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest) and help this girl find a loving home to spend the twilight of her life in.
Look at this sweet, scared face. Will you please help her?
