San Antonio, TX – A senior dog recently celebrated her birthday…not in the company of her family, but at the Texas shelter where she has been held for more than a year. The San Antonio Humane Society writes:
After spending more than a year at our shelter, Princess-Peach (Great Dane mix) celebrated her 7th birthday. All she wants is to find her forever family where she can be the only pet.
Princess Peach was brought to the shelter facility in July 2022 – in the year that has passed, nobody has stepped up to offer her the home that she deserves. A portion of Princess Peach’s biography reveals the very good girl she is:
We believe she’s being overlooked because of her size, but she could fit in with any family! Her heart is as big as her body! She walks great on a leash, knows “sit” and “shake,” and will give you endless kisses! We recently took Princess Peach on a Dog Day Out to Fredericksburg, Texas, and visited Das Peach Haus, strolled Main Street, and shopped at Dogologie! Her smile said it all – she had the best time!
Spending day after day in a lonely kennel run is not the life that any dog deserves. You can help this sweet senior dog find a forever home by sharing her adoption information.
