Puppy Rescued After Falling 80 Feet Down Pipe

Fresno County, CA – This week, a young puppy was rescued after falling 80 feet down a pipe in Fresno County, California. According to the Fresno County Fire Department, the seven-week-old puppy was injured when she fell down the abandoned well pipe.

With the help of multiple tools, the department’s Technical Rescue Unit was able to reach the puppy and pull it to safety.

Humane Society staff transported the puppy to a veterinarian for evaluation and treatment. No word on the pup’s current condition.

  1. They’d better have plugged that pipe. Imagine what that was like for a new baby; look at that sad, exhausted little face. it’s so important for people to always protect their animals.
