Everett, Washington – A dog dubbed Binny is recovering after someone put her in a suitcase and threw her into an Everett dumpster. Thankfully the dog was discovered and rescued by an Everett police officer.
The department shared the heartbreaking story, recounting the details on social media:
Binny’s story is heartbreaking. She was found in a dumpster, zipped inside a suitcase with a rope around her neck. It’s a miracle she survived.
Binny is recuperating from her traumatizing ordeal at the Everett Animal Shelter. On Thursday, Officer Kargopoltseva, who rescued her, paid the dog a visit and they took a field trip together. The department said that “despite the rain,” they had a great time!

The Everett Police are determined to find the person(s) who abandoned Binny. If you have any information regarding Binny’s abandonment, please contact the Everett Police Department’s non-emergency line, (425) 407-3999.
