Tacoma, Washington – On Wednesday, the Tacoma Police Department announced that all cats, to the best of their knowledge, have been rescued from the abandoned sailboat off Owen Beach in Tacoma. In a social media post, the department said their Tacoma Police Marine Services and Animal Control units had been working hard to remove every cat from the vessel.

On Tuesday, the police had stated that all cats were off the boat – bringing the number of rescued cats to 60:

On Wednesday, the department acknowledged that cats can be sneaky, and there could be one or more still hiding…requesting eyes from the public to assist:
