Police Officers Rescue Injured Deer From Fence

Police officers rescued an injured deer who was stuck in a fence.

Shelby Township, MI – On Saturday, an injured deer who was stuck in a metal fence, was rescued by police officers in Shelby Township. The Shelby Township Police officers who were dispatched to help are identified as Officers Herman, Pomante and Zachary.

The injured deer was transported to an emergency veterinary hospital for care.

Because of the officers’ quick actions, the deer is expected to make a full recovery and should be able to be released into the wild.

The Police Department’s Facebook post about the rescue effort has been met with gratitude.

  1. God bless you officers for helping this deer. He can go live a happy life now:) See people.. Police help everyone. Yeah, sometimes they make mistakes, but don’t we all? They really do try as hard as they possibly can to help in the right way.So when they make a mistake, sometimes you need to ask yourself who would you call to help yourself if you were stuck in a fence? Good job to the persons who called them to help:) Thank you all.
