Police Officer Rescues Soggy, Freezing Kitten From Roadway

Austin, Texas – Less than a week ago, a tiny kitten, who was soaking wet and freezing, was rescued from a roadway in Austin by a kind police officer. The Austin Police Department Tweeted a photo of Officer Townsend with the soggy kitten he saved.

The pint-sized feline may have used up one of his/her nine lives that day, but thanks to Officer Townsend, the adorable kitten is alive and well.

No word on where the rescued kitten went, or if Officer Townsend might be adding him/her to his family.

  1. Another cop rescuing a cat from the side of the road-if this keeps up I might actually start to like cops.Seriously,: I have to give credit to this guy and the female cop last week who stopped to rescue these cats from the side of these busy highways. They are certainly head and shoulders above the assholes who probably abandoned these cats to begin with and other drivers who probably saw the cats but just kept on going.
