Thousand Palms, CA – A young dog has been left heartbroken after she was surrendered to a busy California animal shelter with her pup. The puppy has since been adopted and the young mother, dubbed Sally, was left behind and now she is in danger of being euthanized.
Her advocate writes:
Owner dumped Sally the white #husky with her puppy in a high kill shelter. As if this wasn’t tragic enough, this poor mama had to watch her little one being adopted and she is 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗬 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗕𝗥𝗢𝗞𝗘𝗡 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗘𝗗😭
Volunteers posted her a few weeks ago she did not look like this. She looks defeated💔

thank you for rescuing these beautiful pups. the people that do this should be taught a lesson they would never forget. that is the way you stop this garbage.
The “shelter” that separated them is as bad as the owner who dumped them! So they adopt out the cute, sweet puppy and leave a heartbroken mother. They should have gone as a pair! A bonded pair!! And a shelter is not a shelter if it kills just because of space. A shelter should only end the lives of those with no further hope and in pain.
