Oregon-Based Rescue Group Helps Sterilize Nearly 900 Animals In Mexico

Bend, OR – With the help of generous donors, an Oregon-based rescue organization was able to sterilize nearly 900 pets in Kanasìn, Mexico. According to Street Dog Hero, a total of 895 cats and dogs were spayed and neutered over the course of three days at a clinic set up in Kanasìn. The impressive feat set a record for the animal welfare agency.

Street Dog Hero partnered with Beach Dog Rescue Costa Maya and Ester y Liza for the amazing sterilization event.

Thanks to the rescue groups, thousands of unwanted pregnancies have been prevented and millions of kittens and puppies will not be born into a life of suffering and neglect.
