Chiang Mai, Thailand – A tourist attraction in Chiang Mai was closed for two weeks after dozens of tigers died in a short period of time. According to sources, 72 tigers at the privately operated Tiger Kingdom park died over the course of two weeks in February.
Officials from multiple agencies have been overseeing the investigation. According to the Bangkok Post, the official cause of the deaths remains unknown, but the Daily Mail has stated that testing showed the deceased tigers tested positive for the canine distemper virus, though the source of the exposure is unknown.
Thorough disinfecting efforts have been underway at the shuttered tiger park and surviving tigers were moved to another facility. Officials have stated that no humans contracted the virus and no surviving tigers have exhibited signs of illness.

release ALL animals to the forests. Human devils cannot take care of them and are imprisoning them to make a fast easy buck. Ban all zoos
These types of tourist parks that only exploit animals for financial gain should be eliminated.
NO EXOTIC ANIMAL IS SAFE IN HUMAN HANDS. HUMANITY CAN’T PROPERLY CARE FOR ITSELF, HOW IN HELL CAN IT CARE FOR ANOTHER SPECIES. WE ARE ROTTING AT THE CORE.
