Jackson County, Mississippi – A Mississippi man who raped his cousin’s pregnant dog, Baby Girl, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison and he is required to register as a sex offender. The vile incident took place in October 2024 – Timothy Sanders of Escatawpa was arrested after a relative walked in and saw him holding the dog down and sexually violating her.
The Biloxi Sun Herald outlines the sentencing:
“Circuit Judge Calvin Taylor subsequently sentenced Sanders to 10 years in prison for having unnatural sex with the dog to run concurrently to a three-year sentence for animal cruelty, with all but one year and one month to serve day-for-day for the crimes, plus five years of reporting post-release supervision.”
Judge Taylor also requires Sanders to register as a sex offender – for the rest of his life.
In Defense of Animals praises Assistant District Attorney Bill Barrett, who fought to prosecute Sanders, as a “vital ally” in the fight to end animal cruelty.
