York, PA – The authorities have arrested a York man in the brutal beating of a German shepherd pup dubbed Chance. According to the York County District attorney, Terell Harris, 35, was charged with a felony count of aggravated cruelty to animals on Tuesday by a Grand Jury.
Chance was brutally beaten with a stick last August. The attack left him with missing teeth, a broken jaw and permanently blind in one eye.
But with amazing veterinary care, Chance recovered, and he is living with Matthew Tamanoksy, the police officer who found him.
Harris has a preliminary hearing scheduled on February 7; his bail was revoked by Magisterial District Judge James Morgan.

Harris should be locked up for 10-15 years mandatory minimum as he already proved by this cruelty he’s willing to inflict great bodily harm or death upon animals.

I am so happy this dog lived, but he didn’t have to go through that at all!! If only someone had reported him being mean to the dog in the first place, maybe the dog would have his capabilities!!
