Duson, Louisiana – A Louisiana man is facing animal cruelty charges stemming from the fatal shooting of two dogs who belonged to a man who came to his home for a visit last Friday. According to sources, 49-year-old Damon Labbe shot a golden retriever named Buddy, and a rat terrier named Poupe after the dogs were accidentally left in his yard.
The two dogs belonged to 76-year-old Gerald Trahan, who tells KLFY that he accidentally left the dogs in Labbe’s yard following a visit. Trahan realized his mistake and called Labbe to tell him he was coming back to retrieve his pets.
Trahan said, “I said, Damon, I left my dogs. I’m coming back to pick them up. And he said, I just shot a dog,”
Trahan returned to find his dog, Buddy, dead on the ground. He describes the traumatic scene, telling the news agency, “I drove up there, there was my dog, head’s gone, blown off full of blood, and I started crying. I picked him up and put him on my tailgate.”
Trahan searched for his other dog, with the help of a neighbor. He said, “Well, come to find out, he shot that one, too, she was laying in the grass like she was trying to get away, and he shot her in the stomach.”
The man accused of killing the dogs claims he thought they belonged to a neighbor, not to Trahan.
A woman familiar with Trahan and his pets said:
“It’s just been heartbreaking. To see what they’re going through and knowing the dogs were very gentle, sweet dogs and they went everywhere with Mr. Gerald. I don’t understand how anyone could be so heartless as to shoot two sweet dogs.”

The most agonising reality in the world is that these wicked arrogant bastards get away with murdering innocent and helpless sentient beings. The authorities lack the incentive to punish them, irrespective of whatever circumstances or whichever country this cruelty happens. Because the legal system is inhumane and uncaring toward animals, there are no representatives of justice for sentient beings.

Well I can’t quite work out the situation here and why the dogs were left. But I’ll just say that if these had been my dogs, no matter what happened to me this motherfuck would be counting the days ( hours) that he would have left on earth.These pricks know what they are doing and enjoy torturing and murdering innocent animals. It sounds like Trahan and Labbe had had a raging argument so volatile that Trahsan fled without his beloved pets.
Labbe probably shot Trahan’s Buddy and Poupe in retribution.
Trahan needs to face felony charges for causing the animals’ deaths. He is a danger to society. Traahan deserves PRISON.
