Last Call For Handsome German Shepherd With Fractured Leg

Gardena, CA -The last call has been issued for a handsome German shepherd who has been at the Carson Animal Services facility since February. On Friday, the Saving Carson Shelter Dogs Facebook page wrote:

Subject: IMMEDIATE Medical Rescue Plea Alfred A5532965
Alfred- A5532965
4 years old Gray, Male German Shepard. Came to us as a lost dog on 2/9/23.
Alfred is available for rescue to an Adoption Partner with a master agreement.
Good morning, I hope all is well. We are reaching out for your assistance for our friend Alfred. Alfred needs immediate medical rescue.

Alfred has been at the facility since February 9, and during the weeks that have passed, nobody has stepped up to save his life.

Alfred’s medical notes read:

Alfred is a 4 year old German Shepard that presented to the care center with a fracture of the forelimb. There is some improvement seen in follow up radiographs but he now has unresolving URI. He is not responding to varied antibiotics and his clinical signs are worsening. Alfred has a reasonable chance of full recovery if he can get placement in a non-shelter environment for recovery.

Sharing Alfred’s information will help him be seen by rescue groups who may be in the position to take him in. Please help save Alfred’s life by taking a moment to share his adoption information. Please note, all inquiries about this dog MUST be made directly to the shelter; Animal Victory is NOT the point of contact.

  1. I do not understand how this country gives free hand-outs to people that do not want to work yet allow an animals that needs help to suffer.
